Linda Barker

Born in Yorkshire Linda pursued a career in interior design, leading to a hugely successful move into TV - inspiring the UK in series such as Changing Rooms, 60 Minute Makeover and Building The Dream.
Linda later moved on to write numerous books and design-led columns and today runs her own interior design business with an online retail division.


Harriet Forde

BIID President Harriet Forde is an established interior designer and founder of London-based practice; Harriet Forde Design.
Having begun her study of interior design at the London School of Furniture, Harriet went on to graduate from prestigious university Central St Martin’s with a degree in textiles. With more than 10 years experience in the hospitality sector - working for the likes of Richard Daniels, Richmond International and Areen Design – Harriet eventually set up her own practice, Harriet Forde Design in 1999. Recognised for her work within the commercial, hotel and residential sector she is regularly commissioned to work on overseas projects. Harriet became BIID President in July 2019.


Susie Rumbold

Susie was BIID President Elect for 2016/17. She runs her hugely successful BIID Design Practice Tessuto Interiors - a creative multi-disciplinary interior design practice from Parson’s Green in London. Her company has been producing original design solutions for both commercial and private clients for more than 20 years.


George Bond

With a scholar’s grasp of centuries of rich tradition and an alchemist’s flair for infinite possibility, George Bond is the acknowledged master of modern interior design.. George’s exuberant flair for colour and intimate knowledge of texture has been recognised by some of the most discerning and fashionable clients. George prides himself on the philosophy that a home should be both a practical base and a relaxing haven, a space to live, a space to move and a space to be.


Wayne Hemingway

Wayne Hemingway believes in the supremacy of design, whether in clothes or in buildings.
At the height of his fame as a fashion designer, he sold his iconic company, Red or Dead and his focus now is Hemingway Design, which specialises in affordable and social housing.


Fiona Watkins

Fiona is a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). A background of working in hotels gave her a sense of how to combine elegance and luxury with scale, which she’s transferred to her projects in private homes.
Having previously lived in Holland, Fiona brings a flavour of cutting-edge European design to her work, while as a member of the Historic Houses Association, she’s just at home working in traditional period settings.


Beverley Spyer Holmes

Having worked with interiors for nearly 30 years, Beverley has acquired a wealth of experience in her industry. Her forte has come from her ability to carry colour and meticulous attention to detail, combined with a practical approach. Coming from a property background, Beverley understood good design very early on having trained at the Inchbald School of Design and after a brief flirtation in antiques she headed up her own practice, Beverley Hills Interiors. Cutting her teeth through constant learning and experience - the results benefit all of Beverley’s clients with her great wealth of knowledge and expertise.


Ann Vanner

RIBA President Northwest
Ann is a qualified Architect and Architectural Technologist and has worked at UCLan since 2009. She is a Senior Lecturer and currently the course leader for the BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology Programme. She works with a range of people, groups and organisations to develop ‘live’ studio projects and hands-on exercises for degree students and encourages the idea of learning through doing, and as a result the course has adopted the tag line of ‘practical creativity’ Ann is research active in building technology, passive design approaches and the pedagogy of architectural education. She is also a member of Centre for Sustainable Development CSD.

Nicole Bremner

Nicole Bremner is a property developer, investor and founder of two real estate companies based in the City and East London areas – East Eight and London Central Developments. Working with both commercial and residential properties, Nicole engages award-winning architect and design partners to produce stunning results. She is also a speaker, author, presenter and mentor. Creativity and financial independence drew her into the world of property, but ever more it is the highly collaborative aspect to the industry which continues to inspire her.


Nick Munro

Designer Nick studied engineering and design at Imperial College of Science and Technology and The Royal College of Art, London.

He launched his career turning bedsprings into egg cups and became the UK's Young Entrepreneur of the Year.


Aneeqa Khan

Having started out in private equity, Aneeqa joined property giant Zoopla as their Strategy Director. Charged with managing their launch onto the stock market, she achieved a £1bn exit for the firm. When buying her own home in London Aneeqa struggled to find great pieces to fill it with - she knew they existed, but they were time-consuming to find so she launched eporta to make sourcing products for commercial and residential spaces simpler, by going directly to manufacturers. 

Three years on and 40+ staff later, eporta has become the world’s leading interiors sourcing platform, exclusively for trade professionals. With over 65,000 products and 10,000 interior design studios and property development firms, they are also the largest. Personally, Aneeqa has been named as one of the leading entrepreneurs in the UK by The Times and Forbes, as well as one of the top 35 entrepreneurs under 35 by Management Today. www.eporta.com


Simon Lewis-Pierpoint

For over a decade, Simon has been at the forefront of residential architecture, which has seen his bespoke practice develop into one of the UK’s leading architects’ firms. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of the award-winning practice Studio SDA Architects, Simon’s passion within architecture is for creating and delivering some of the UK’s most ground-breaking projects.

With many accolades to Simon’s extensive resume and as a 5-time winner of Northern Design Awards including 3-time winner of the Best Residential Architectural Practice, we are excited to now welcome Simon onto our elite judging panel. www.studiosda.co.uk


Adam White

Adam is a Chartered Landscape Architect, President and Fellow of the Landscape Institute. After
gaining an ONC in Landscape Studies at Reaseheath Horticultural College in Cheshire he went on to
study Landscape Architecture at undergraduate and postgraduate level at Manchester Metropolitan
University. He graduated in 1998 and has worked in the private sector in Manchester, for a local
authority in South Yorkshire and in the voluntary sector in Lincolnshire and London.
In 2008 he established Davies White Ltd with fellow landscape architect Andrée Davies.
Adam was made a fellow of the Landscape Institute in 2012 for his influential role in promoting
nature play within the landscape profession. He sits on the government's Play Policy Forum
representing the Landscape Institute and is co-author of Nature Play: Managing and Maintaining
Playful Landscapes published by Play England. He is also a regular contributor to the professional
journal Pro Landscaper.
