Based in the heart of the lake District, the majority of our work is within a 2 hours radius to help us maintain our client relations. The lake District brings us many second homes, soon to be permanent!

This family home is located 200 yards from Windermere and the brief was to inject the look and feel of the stunning surroundings in a warm, welcoming and practical design. With small children finishes had to either be robust or simple for re-decoration. the emphasis, as with all our design is to bring the beauty of the outside in and open the outside to the inside.
We create the warmth around hard finishes using texture, tone and sculptural form. This enveloping and encompassing the clients own personal effects and belongings.

The open plan of the living space leads out of the lounge, and the kitchen snug to the outside with ease by folding doors. Each individual space with it's own function lives in harmony with the next. Any season and purpose. Family, friends or party.

The simple budget allowed for detail to fixtures and finishes as a priority. The kitchen and bathrooms are well considered, to stand the test of time, allowing the soft furnishing to develope as the family settles into their new home. The house was set up for christmas when shot.
