Background
After being started by Michael McMahon over eight years ago, Earle and Ginger quickly settled into Didsbury Village with its appreciation for independent businesses and desire to ‘shop local’. Their reputation for personal service was given a sharper edge with the addition of Vincent Bentham, a designer with a passion to channel new trends and products. Last year Vincent left to open a second showroom in Hale Village, leaving Didsbury open for Ava Morris and Lucy Popps, both with degrees in Interior Architecture to, under the guidance of Mike, put their mark on.
Showrooms
We endeavour to keep our showrooms varied and inviting to show we do not concentrate on one particular style or brand. We present ourselves as a design studio, not a fixed ‘shop’ and our showrooms are constantly evolving as our designers develop and implement trends and styles. In January 2011 Didsbury underwent a refurbishment, so alongside our contemporary Metris collection we now have a more reasonably priced linear display. This was to show our customers that by using thoughtful design, an effective look can be achieved on almost any budget. The Hale Village studio is reflective of its cliental, displaying edgier Italian Comprex displays, Metris furniture and completely bespoke media centres.
Customers and Service
We are 100% design led; whether the project takes weeks or months to design we understand the impact a well-designed kitchen can have on our customer’s lives. Not just the aesthetics, but the practicality of a working kitchen is important and we know it is the finishing touches and individual details that count the most. ‘The Complete Project Managed Kitchen Design Service’ is something Earle and Ginger offer as standard, aiming to take the stress out of a large project. Although we also feel comfortable being simply a tool enabling clients with strong ideas to realise them. Since January 2011 we have been proud to offer a 15 year manufacturing guarantee on all our cabinetry and doors. Our customer service policy has always been the same: the customer comes first!
What type of Kitchens
We like to think of our kitchens being as individual as our customers, and do not promote a certain brand or style. The houses in Didsbury are often period properties, so customers may like to keep in fitting with a classic handmade, hand painted shaker kitchen. Whilst others like their kitchen to be a major contrast, often adding large extensions with bi-fold doors and contemporary Metris or gloss kitchens to create large family spaces. As an exclusive Metris dealer in our area, our customers are continuously impressed with the flowing designs we can offer using this product.
