In June 2010 The Lighthaus opened; the only dedicated high end lighting store in the North West, providing both lighting and lighting design for indoor & outdoor settings. We were delighted to be recognised as Independent Retailer of the Year at the Northern Design Awards in our first year.

We want to understand your design tastes and preferences, and are not restricted by style. The showroom has strong representations of both contemporary and classical lighting bodies, with sample pieces from in excess of 40 design houses and manufacturers. The Lighthaus is also the exclusive North West showroom for many designer Italian brands. But, if off the shelf lighting doesn't solve your problem then have a piece designed and commissioned or customised. Recent commissions include contemporary chandeliers and giant football ceiling lights for a Manchester staduim.
Our showroom in Wilmslow features a broad range of high quality products from the best and most reputable brands including Foscarini, Flos, Fabbian, Pieter Adam and Porta Romana. Laid out in sections: Contemporary, Luxury and Exterior, it's easy to focus on your requirements. In recent months we have added the latest in concealed architectural lighting, where the fittings are plastered into your walls or ceiling and it's just the lighting effect you see. The team are constantly on the lookout for new designs and technical innovation, and travel internationally to keep abreast of the latest innovations, especially in energy efficiency.
