The Green Machine Ltd
The Green Machine was established in 2007 and is an aquascaping and Nature Aquarium specialist. Aquascaping is a new art form in which artists use natural stone, wood and plants to create a living work of art or an indoor, underwater garden. Like any art form, aquascapes can be any size, so they can easily enhance any space.
The Green Machine is a family run business that was founded by James Findley to bring aquascaping to the UK. After travelling in Asia, James was amazed at the beauty and relaxing, healing powers of the Nature Aquarium.
All of our stock is thoroughly tested to ensure that it works and that all our staff have expert, working knowledge of everything. Because aquascaping is an art form, everything we supply must also be beautiful and design centred. We supply everything needed from the glass Cube Gardens and solid wooden cabinets to the small glass pipework that invisibly filters the water without impacting on the overall design.
Aqua Design Amano (the leading manufacturer in the world) asked us to be their distributor in the UK because they believed that we shared their philosophy, so we import container loads of stock directly from Japan.
We are the only store of our kind in the UK so we are truly unique. We supply everything needed to create a Nature Aquarium, expert advice, excellent service and a planting and maintenance service.
Our whole store is designed around the customer: we have three large displays to inspire, and several smaller displays to demonstrate what can be achieved in a confined space.
We provide a relaxed seating area for private consultations and the opportunity for clients to choose from a range of famous artists to work with or design their Nature Aquarium for them so they can choose from a selection of styles.
