Sarah Jane Nielsen Ltd has worked closely with this client for over 10 years.Through those years our brief has been to develop “their brand”, a exclusive look feel for “Gilpin”. Our aim is to reveal the character and personality of the hotel as visually as possible.

Located in the heart of the lake District, Gilpin Lodge has an outstanding reputation for great service and fine dining. It was our job to mirror that standard with the interior design. Ultimately we wanted to bring the outside in, as far as possible, with the textures, tones and colour palatte of the surrounding landscape. The design, along with the finishing, finishes and furnishing are of a standard to stand the test of time. We are nurturing designers and along with our client relationships, we feel we should cradle the design development as considerately and as practically as we are able.The relationship between value and worth is present at all times. Unlike many competitors in the area and beyond, the attention to detail is unique and is expected by their clientelle of old.

Each space generates the warmth and generosity of the hospitality through the design. To keep up with progress and attract the modern generation, the client constantly demands we embrace and introduce the technological standards and facilities expected at this level, however discreet!
