A successful family background gave Elaine Cunningham a strong grounding in business; she demonstrated a particular interest and talent for heading up innovative ventures and spent time flying all over the world to gain different contacts and view inspiring new retail collections. Deciding to strike out on her own took a different kind of courage, but the challenge of following her dreams was irresistible and Elaine Cunningham Interiors was born, supplying everything from fabric and wallpaper to flooring and paint, as well as incorporating an interior design service. "It was hard work but i've turned my dream into a reality," say Elaine. "I won business of the year award in 2009, which was so exciting. It's wonderful to see that the company is a huge success."

Elaine aimed high from the outset, with stunning results. For a short time she worked from home building her business profile and clientele but soon invested in a rundown property on Aigburth Road in Liverpool, transforming it into a fantastic showroom which quickly became a landmark in the city. She has since opened another Elaine Cunningham brand store in Chapel Street in Liverpool city centre.
