Cleveland Modern Homes
Cleveland Modern Homes Bathroom Studio is a long established Independent Bathroom Retailer, started over 35 years ago by Owner/Director John Davison, known locally as 'the Bathroom Man'.
The showroom is a two storey Georgian fronted building, located in the beautiful village of Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, a few hundred yards from the duckpond and is frequently referred to as being like 'The Tardis' internally, owing to its deceptive appearance.
Our loyal and courteous staff have made it their business, over the years, to put customer service at the forefront of everything we do, and to treat every customer with the same level of care, whether they are purchasing a washer for a tap or splashing out their life savings on a new bathroom, en-suite and cloakroom, in one sweep.
The Company has an unwritten policy to endeavour to source products mainly from UK and Europe, and we prize the relationship we have with our local independent manufacturers and suppliers, who provide us with high quality products featuring beautiful design features and appealing accessories.
Our latest, and very successful window display, featuring the superbly designed and British manufactured Marflow St James range, has proved to be a real head-turner for us, and attracted a new, admiring and style-conscious customer, wanting to realise their bathroom dream and seek a design that will 'knock the socks off' their friends, family and, let's be honest, neighbours. The superb quality of this product has greatly assisted us in our task of selling, insofar as first impressions in our line of business can be very deceptive. It's quite easy to make a product that has good design features, just employ a good design team, but whether or not the look of it is upheld by the quality, manufacturing and ability to outlast either the lifetime of the customer, or the bathroom, or both, is another tap of rust.
In the case of the products supplied at Cleveland Modern Homes, we like to believe that this is exactly what we have achieved and suppliers like Dovcor, Roman, St James and Imperial, together with our fantastic tile suppliers, who have a great eye for style and an admirable psychic ability to understand our customers' desires before we have even met them, help us to have confidence in what we sell.
Let's face it, keeping the customer satisfied is what we should all be about, and not for entirely altruistic reasons! Don't we all benefit and thrive on it? Perhaps we should just keep looking to John Lewis for inspiration! They seem to know a thing or two.
