Curve were appointed by our client to design an ultra modern, high specification interior for this magnificent villa overlooking the harbour of Port Andratx, Mallorca. The brief was to create a stunning 'turn key' solution which would enable the property to be sold as a fully furnished home.
The exterior of the villa is based on traditional Mallorcan design, with stylish outdoor living areas and an amazing infinity pool. The interior is smart and modern with a sophisticated and comfortable feel and completed to a very high level of detail. The project involved everything from specifying finishes with the client, the design and fit of the beautiful Varenna kitchen, wardrobes and storage to complete specification, supply and installation of all furniture items, wallcoverings, window treatments, and accessories.
The sleek surfaces of the kitchen and Poliform furniture sit within a very contemporary scheme. The colour palette is strong, with light grey decorating and luxurious deep woods. Established classics such as the Knoll 'Platner' chair sit alongside future classics, including the white 'Metropolitan' chair by Jeffrey Bernett for B&B Italia. Softer touches were added using bespoke upholstery and furnishings from Casamance, Andrew Martin, Kenzo and Missoni Home. Lighting was chosen from suppliers such as Flos, Foscarini and Porta Romana to complete the modern European style.
With careful consideration to the Mallorcan lifestyle, the interior design seamlessly bridges the inside with exterior areas. Outdoor furniture includes the 'Hemisphere' and 'Seashell' collections from Dedon with planters from Vondom.
29 Can Siurell was a wonderful project for the team to work on. It has received high acclaim featuring in publications such as IDFX magazine and on the Contemporist design portal.
The quality of the design and specification speaks for itself, and the sale of the property has recently completed, a delightful conclusion for all involved. Curve are working on interior design projects across the North of England, and have also recently revisited Port Andratx to begin work on another exciting villa project, this time a conversion of a traditional Spanish finca.
