The Atrium – a dedicated social area and the final piece of our ‘Court Apartments’ accommodation refurbishment jigsaw. After a multi-million-pound investment and 3 years’ concept to completion development, the site, formally an equestrian arena & outer perimeter living facility, now offers an exclusive community for 6th form day and boarding students. A focal point in the heart of the building offering dining & recreational areas on multi-split levels.
The main ground floor boasts the lively ‘hustle & bustle’ area, where the students can dine, socialize and relax on the ‘mini-sine’ a bespoke mini car seating area. In addition, they can play computer games on the latest consoles, play pool and compete with their fellow students over a game of table tennis.
Four mezzanines overlook the ground floor, designed as a quieter chilled area where the students can relax on designer sofas or oversized bean bags, choose from a selection of books on display and can also play a game of giant wall mounted chess, connect 4 or dominoes.
Overlooking all of this activity stands 3 particular bespoke features that add to the innovative design, including a suspended aeroplane, a mini super car racetrack and Bumblebee – the world’s largest Transformer made out of scrap parts standing 8m tall.
