After graduating Fine Art & Interior Design at what is now Manchester Metropolitan University, Paul and Jeremy set up Ferrious in 1991, in order to design and produce furniture and lighting. After many years working alongside some great local designers on clubs & bars such as Cream, Sanky Soap and many others they opened their first showroom on Whitworth Street West displaying their own furniture collection. The success of the showroom led to commissions to design both residential and commercial spaces. Also, it prompted the creation of a much larger showroom at this location in order to display and sell local designers' work alongside some of Europe's greatest furniture and lighting companies.
Our passion has always been to sell and display great design, would it be from North West England or abroad and we regularly hold exhibitions displaying work shown for the very first time in the UK. The showroom has continued to evolve over the years taking over every part of the 750 sq.m. property. It now covers every part of design, from small accessories, lighting and furniture to fully working kitchens and a beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the River Medlock.
